Exercise 2: Curveballs
We mentioned in our top tips that restricting yourself can actually help you to feel more creative. When you hit a sticking point, try throwing in one of these curveballs to get you writing again!
Tip: try not to choose curveballs that fit in with what you’re trying to write about as you could end up back at square one. Choose something random and even if you discard what you’ve written later, at least it will get you in the mood for writing again and who knows what ideas it will throw in to the mix!
